1 person killed in 5 freeway crash in Santa Clarita
SANTA CLARITA A man who was killed in a weekend traffic accident on the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway in Santa Clarita was identified today as a Kern County resident.
The circumstances of the crash that killed Manuel Martinez, 40, of Lamont, were under investigation.
The crash occurred about 11:15 p.m. Sunday on the northbound 5, south of the Magic Mountain Parkway exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
