2 crashes stall traffic at El Toro Y

Two separate crashes stalled traffic on the southbound I-405 at the I-5 Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.

One crash, involving two vehicles, was reported to the CHP at 6:35 a.m. in the car-pool lane.

According to witness reports made to the CHP, one vehicle struck the center divider wall and blocked the car-pool lane.

A SigAlert for the car-pool and fast lanes was canceled at 7:30 a.m.
