Big rig kills pedestrian on Route 66
A big rig hit and killed a pedestrian this morning along historic Route 66 in Rialto, according to San Bernardino County Fire Department dispatchers.
The accident was reported at 5:49 a.m. along the 300 block of the highway, also known as East Foothill Boulevard.
The site is just west of Billy T’s Restaurant.
No information about the victim has been released.
