Bus full of kids, 2 other vehicles crash on 22

A school bus full of kids was involved in a crash with two other vehicles today on the eastbound 22 at The City Drive, the California Highway Patrol says.

At 11:56 a.m., the CHP received a call about a collision, in which a school bus, a gold Mercedes-Benz and a white van crashed.

The school bus, carrying 36 children from the YMCA, crashed into the back of the Mercedes, which then crashed into the back of a white UCI Medical Center van-pool van. No one was hurt on the bus, said CHP officer J.C. Bramlett, who was at the scene.

The Mercedes had front and rear-end damage.

An ambulance was called to the scene but only minor injuries were reported and no one was hospitalized, Bramlett said.

The three vehicles were moved to the right shoulder.
