Car hits motorcycle, runs through wall

“Driver apparently missed a traffic signal, police say.”

A Gray Buick sedan knocked over a motorcycle and then ran through a glass wall Monday morning, sending the motorcycle rider to the hospital.

The car ran into Applied Computer Solutions at the corner of Springdale Street and McFadden Avenue at 11:07 a.m., breaking a water pipe.
According to preliminary reports, the 17-year-old driver of the car apparently missed a traffic signal, Lt. Steve Bushhousen of the Huntington Beach police said.

The car went through a wall and into an empty room, Bushhousen said.

The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
