Man dies after falling down Altadena hill
A young man died today after apparently falling about 100 feet down a hillside in the Altadena area, authorities said.
Firefighters were sent to the 2200 block of Pinecrest Drive about 10 a.m., said county fire Capt. Mike Brown.
The man, in his early 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene, said county fire Inspector Frank Garrido. His name was withheld, pending notification of relatives.
Authorities were investigating the circumstances of the death.
