Man Killed In Crash On 710 Freeway Identified
A motorist killed in a multiple-vehicle pileup on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Vernon was identified Monday as a Downey man.
Jeremy Williams, 24, died in the accident reported at 1:07 a.m. Sunday on the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway just north of Atlantic Boulevard, according Ed Winter of the coroner’s office and the California Highway Patrol.
The fatally injured man was thrown into the southbound lanes and was struck by oncoming traffic, according to a camera crew at the scene.
