Motorcyclist hurt in crash with van

A motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital after a collision involving a GMC van and a Toyota Prius on the southbound 5 freeway just before the southbound 55 connector.

The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 8:26 a.m. The carpool lane was blocked for a few minutes.
