Motorcyclist Injured In South L.A. Accident

A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday after colliding with a van that then collided with a California Highway Patrol car in South Los Angeles, according to the CHP.

Paramedics were sent to Menlo and Slauson avenues at around 7:35 a.m., authorities said.

The biker was transported to a hospital with moderate injuries, Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Departmentsaid.

The CHP officers were not injured, Scott said.
