One killed in single-car wreck
One person was killed and another slightly injured early today during a one-car traffic wreck at a major intersection in Gilman Hot Springs near San Jacinto, according to California Highway Patrol officers.
A 1996 Honda Civic crashed at 12:17 a.m. at Soboba Road and State Street.
One victim died at the scene. The other was taken to Riverside County Medical Center in Moreno Valley with minor injuries, said Officer Jaci Parent.
