Truck kills toddler in Phelan
A 20-month-old toddler died last night after being hit by a half-ton pickup truck at a home in Phelan, according to California Highway Patrol officers.
The accident was reported at 6:34 p.m. Sunday on private property along the 6400 block of Mazarin Drive among a cluster of homes northwest of Wilson Ranch Road and the California Aqueduct.
San Bernardino County coroner’s officials have released no information on the baby or the accident.
