Chew Li’s story: Chew-Li came to Alura Pekingese Rescue from the North Central shelter in Los Angeles after he was injured by a car and his owners decided they didn’t want to risk his vet bills. Chew-Li had a fractured pelvis that recovered with crate rest. Now, he’s a bouncing, happy boy who likes to have his nose in everything you do and whose tail never stops wagging. He has the prettiest, fullest coat you can imagine. He loves belly rubs, snuggles, sitting in laps, and giving vigorous kisses. He’s fine with other small dogs and older children. He has good vision and is very loving.
