Buddy is a smart, active dog who would love someone to love

by in News

Breed: Chow-keeshond mix, along with something else (maybe husky?)

Age: 4 years

Gender: Neutered male

Buddy’s story: Buddy came to Shamrock Rescue from a shelter, where he was becoming stressed and unhappy. He would dearly love a home of his own. He’s a funny, happy guy with lots of energy who would do best in a home where he can exercise. Jogging and running are two of his favorite activities. He takes a little while to warm up but once he knows he can trust you he’s putty in your hands. He tends to ignore other dogs so would do OK in a home where there are others, but he wouldn’t be the best choice as a playmate for other pups. He also should be in a home with no young kids, as he’s got too much energy for them. Buddy is a very smart guy; he knows how to sit, shake and lie down. He is continuing his lessons and needs a home where someone can be with him much of time and is willing to spend time continuing his education. No one has a better, bigger smile than Buddy. He’ll put the same smile on your face; just give him the chance.
