Man struck by hit-and-run car in Fullerton

FULLERTON — A Fullerton man who went out to his car to get his phone early Tuesday was hit by a passing car that did not stop, authorities said.

The hit-and-run occurred at 1:53 a.m. on the 600 block of South Malden Avenue, Fullerton police Lt. Mike Chlebowski said.

The victim was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, Chlebowski said.

A description of the suspect’s vehicle was not immediately available.
