Body found by firefighters in burning vehicle in Westminster

Firefighters came across a body in the trunk of a car early Wednesday after dousing a vehicle fire in Westminster.

The Orange County Fire Authority arrived at the scene at 2:40 a.m. and called police 20 minutes later, after making the discovery in a parking lot at 6422 Industry Way, said Officer Alan Aoki, a spokesman for Westminster police. Police detectives and arson investigators were called in.
