Cairn terrier Fred is a special little guy in many ways

by in News

Breed: Cairn terrier

Age: 7 years

Gender: Male

Size: 10 pounds

Fred’s story: Fred was adopted from the Orange County shelter by a family. They are moving and cannot take Fred with them. Fred is a special-needs boy with paralysis or both his back legs caused by abuse. That doesn’t stop him from being an awesome little dude who makes the best of every day. He does not let this handicap stop him. He loves to run in his wheelchair and play with toys. He wears diapers. He prefers adults to children, likes other dogs and, despite navigating in a wheelchair, will play all day long. He also loves toys and hanging out with people. Fred would be perfect for someone who is an empty nester or a family with much older children. He does require extra assistance to go for walks but is a super loving boy who deserves to find another home.
