Woman arrested after she allegedly assaults 3 people at Tustin gas station

A woman who may have been armed with a knife wounded three people at a Tustin gas station near Frontier Park on Thursday, April 11.

The attack happened at the Arco service station on the corner of Red Hill and Mitchell Avenues at about 6 p.m., according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Tony Bommarito.

He said two women in their 50s were stabbed and taken to OC Global Medical Center. Their injuries were serious, but did not appear to be life-threatening.

A third victim was also hurt, but declined an ambulance ride and drove to a hospital, according to Bommarito.

Officers took one woman into custody as a suspect in the attack, according to Tustin police Lt. Bob Wright. She was not immediately identified by authorities, who said it wasn’t yet clear why the assaults took place.
