1 driver hurt in 4-car freeway crash

A multi-vehicle crash on the westbound 91 freeway just east of the southbound 57 sent one driver to the hospital Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The four-vehicle crash was reported at 6:27 a.m., according to the CHP.

A Honda Accord, a Nissan Xterra, a Toyota RAV4, and a Mitsubishi Lancer were involved, authorities said.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was taken to the hospital.

Witnesses initially reported to the CHP that five vehicles were involved. One vehicle reportedly left the scene.
