80-year-old killed in wreck with truck

An 80-year-old Palm Springs motorist was killed yesterday when his car was broadsided by a pickup truck, according to Riverside County coroner’s officials.

Donald Paul Klimovich died at Desert Regional Medical Center about 30 minutes after the 9:40 a.m. wreck at San Rafael and Indian Canyon Drives in Palm Springs, coroner’s deputies said in a written statement.

Palm Springs police are investigating.
