Five-car crash shuts down lanes on I-405

A multi-car crash had the two right lanes shut down for close to an hour on southbound Interstate 405 near the 73 in Santa Ana, the California Highway Patrol is reporting.

The lanes reopened at 10:20 a.m.

The crash, which occurred just before 9 a.m. involved a Dodge Stratus, Toyota Camry , Toyota Corolla, Honda Pilot and a Nissan Sentra.

A pregnant woman may have been in one of the vehicles, according to initial reports.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene but it is unknown if anyone was injured.
