Helicopter evacuates infant from Catalina Island to O.C.

“The 4-day-old child was flown to Fountain Valley Hospital”

FOUNTAIN VALLEY A 4-day-old infant who needed medical care was evacuated by helicopter from Catalina Island to Fountain valley early this morning.

The infant was taken from Catalina Hospital to Fountain Valley Hospital on a Coast Guard HH-65c Dolphin helicopter around 2 a.m. today.
Details of the why the infant was evacuated were not children arrived safely, according to the Coast Guard.
