Rider injured in Irvine crash
IRVINE One person was taken to the hospital after a Jeep Cherokee and a Kawasaki sport bike crashed Tuesday morning, police said.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 10:29 a.m. on the westbound lanes of Sand Canyon Avenue at Irvine Center Drive.
According to police on scene, the rider sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The cause is under investigation.
