About 1:57 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the area of East Palm Drive and Valencia Avenue on a report of a car on fire, Captain Carlos Huerta said.

Then, at about 2:30 a.m., the department received another report of a car fire two blocks west in the 5300 block of Cedarlawn Drive, Huerta said.

Firefighters quickly put out both fires and an investigator was called out to the scene of each incident, Huerta said.

It has not been determined if the two fires were intentionally set and damage estimates were not immediately available, Huerta said.
