The Festival of Arts made sure the youngest of visitors on Sunday, July 8, were enjoying themselves.

Family Art Day had performances scheduled by Le Petit Cirque, an aerial circus act featuring children, and Undecided Future, a band of former Orange County School of the Arts students. A treasure hunt led children through the festival’s art exhibit.

The Festival of Arts, in its 86th year, is a fine arts show in Laguna Beach featuring pieces chosen from 140 award-winning Orange County artists. It is held in conjunction with the annual Pageant of the Masters.

Coming up, the festival has a fashion show, outdoor concerts and art talks planned.

The Festival of the Arts runs through Sept. 1. It is open from noon to 11:30 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. weekends. General admission is $10 during the week and $15 on weekends; student, senior and children discounts are available.

The Pageant of the Masters also runs through Sept. 1. Information on both is at foapom.com.
