New Cal State Fullerton students start showing up on campus

by in News

Some of next year’s freshmen showed up on the Cal State Fullerton campus the last week of June – along with their parents.

They’re not unpacking yet. They were part of freshman orientation activities that included interactive activities, campus tours, and meetings with students and professors in the college they will be part of come August.

Current CSUF students served as orientation leaders – guiding tours, answering questions and boosting school spirit through games in front of Titan Student Union.

Parents had their own orientation session, with special attention to dates and deadlines; ways to take part, such as the Titan Parent and Family Association and the Parent Volunteer Circle; and a pitch for “parent pride gear.”

All freshmen are required to attend orientation. Transfer students and international students also have orientation days.
