Suspects remain at large after two men in their 20’s sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds during what may have been a gang-related altercation on Thursday, August 16 in San Clemente.

Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a disturbance near Calle Agua and Camino El Molino at about 6:40 a.m. on Thursday, according to a department spokeswoman.

When authorities arrived, at least one male, possibly between the ages of 14 and 20 and wearing dark gray baggy shirts and gym shorts, was seen fleeing from an alleyway behind Calle Cansata. Deputies then discovered two individuals suffering from stab wounds in the alleyway. They also discovered a trail of blood leading away from the alleyway.

The two stabbing victims were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
