Anaheim police investigate body found floating in reservoir

Homicide detectives in Anaheim are investigating after a person’s body was found Tuesday, Sept. 4.

A passerby noticed the corpse floating in a flood control reservoir sometime before 7 p.m. and notified authorities, said Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt.

He said homicide detectives were dispatched to an area near the intersection of East Street and Balsam Avenue. As of about 7:50 p.m., coroner officials had yet to examine the body or determine whether the death was natural or suspicious.
