Fullerton police officers responding to a call for service at the 2800 block of North Brea Boulevard found a 20-year-old woman in a parking lot who was suffering from stab wounds at about 1 p.m., said Fullerton Police Lt. Nearby Beechwood Elementary School and EvFree church were placed on lockdown as police searched the area for an adult male suspect, Radus said. He said the man was found hiding in a residential area and arrested at about 2:45 p.m., and precautionary measures at the school and church were lifted.
