PIH Health opens new urgent care center in La Habra

PIH Health has opened another urgent care center, this one in La Habra at 1400 S. Harbor Blvd.

The center will offer care for minor illnesses, such as earaches, persistent coughs or minor wounds that may need stitches. Sports physicals are also offered at this facility.

The La Habra facility joins four other PIH Health urgent care centers in Montebello, Santa Fe Springs, Hacienda Heights and Whittier.

The La Habra center is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. everyday, including holidays. No appointment is necessary. To view a list of all PIH Health Urgent Care Center locations or to check wait times, visit PIHHealth.org/UCC.

The center offers access to medical care with shorter wait times than an emergency room, Dr. Jaime Diaz, chief medical officer for PIH Health Hospital – Downey, said in an emailed release.
