4 sustain minor injuries after Huntington Beach patrol car, minivan collide

Four people were injured in a collision involving a police vehicle in Huntington Beach on Monday, Dec. 10.

An officer was alone in her patrol car when she was involved in a collision at about 2:45 p.m. with a minivan occupied by a woman and two of her children at Algonquin Street and Heil Avenue, near Harbor View Elementary School, according to Huntington Beach Police Lt. Tom Weizorick.

He said all four people were taken to a nearby trauma center with minor injuries.

Additional information regarding the circumstance of the collision was not immediately released by officials.
