Juvenile pedestrian struck and injured by vehicle in Buena Park

A juvenile was hit by a vehicle in Buena Park and sent to the hospital on Tuesday night. Information on the victim’s condition wasn’t immediately available.

Bret Carter, spokesman for the Buena Park Police Department, said the crash happened on Western Avenue, between Lincoln and Crescent avenues.

Carter said Western would be shut down for the remainder of the night and into the early hours of Wednesday while police investigate.

The juvenile’s name, gender and age were not immediately released.
