Video: Here’s what happened during day 1 of the Rose Parade Bandfest
Marching bands from all over the world wowed a local audience at day one of the Rose Parade Bandfest on Saturday, December 29, at Pasadena City College’s Robinson Stadium.
Each band showcased various award-winning field shows that helped orchestrate the group’s success and helped secure their place during Tuesday’s upcoming Tournament of Roses Parade.
Day one performers included:
- Lassiter High School Marching Trojan Band, Marietta, GA
- The Salvation Army Tournament of Roses Band, Los Angeles, CA
- Pickerington Marching Band, Pickerington, OH
- Banda Municipal de Acosta, San Jose, Costa Rica
- Na Koa Ali`i – Hawai`i All-State Marching Band, Kaneohe, HI
- LAUSD All District High School Honor Band, Los Angeles, CA
- Pacific Crest Drum & Bugle Corps, Diamond Bar, CA
- University of Washington Husky Marching Band, Seattle, Washington
