Orange County celebrates Black History Month with parade, fair

by in News

The 39th annual Orange County Black History Parade made its way through downtown Anaheim on Saturday, Feb. 23, albeit a bit later than usual.

Rainstorms earlier in the month forced the rescheduling of the parade and the cultural fair that followed.

On Saturday, bands, floats and community groups marched along Anaheim Boulevard, leading the crowds to the fair with food, shopping and more entertainment in celebration of Black History Month.

The annual event is organized by the Orange County Heritage Council.
