Ice Skate for a Cure will make Disneyland dreams come true for some CHOC patients

by in News

Ice Skate for a Cure, a local nonprofit group, is again raising funds to send children and their families to Disneyland after completing cancer treatment at Children’s Hospital of Orange County.

The third annual event is set for Saturday, March 2, at the Aliso Viejo Ice Palace.

Aubrey Davenport, a senior at Santa Margarita High School, founded Ice Skate For a Cure in 2017 after she had to stop competitive skating because of injuries. Her passion for skating led her to start the charity to bring a day of celebration to children and families going through treatment at CHOC Children’s.
