Police ask public’s help finding family’s 5 bulldogs stolen from Anaheim home

by in News

Anaheim police asked the public’s help finding five English and French bulldogs that were stolen from a family’s home this week.

The family left their dogs in an enclosure in the backyard for about four hours on Monday afternoon Sept. 30, Anaheim police said.

“When they returned home, a car key from one of their vehicles was stolen from inside a detached garage and their family dogs…were stolen,” the Thursday, Oct. 3 police bulletin states.

None of the dogs – Blue, Penelope, King, Blossom, and Peanut – were microchipped. There were also no video surveillance cameras at the home.

Peanut, one of the English bulldogs, has a red mass under his left eye, a heart problem and scratches near his mouth. Blue, one of the French bulldogs, had scratches around the tips of his ears.

Anyone with information is asked to call Orange County Crime Stoppers 1-855-TIP-OCCS.
