Two-alarm fire hits Whittier church

WHITTIER — County firefighters are battling a two-alarm church fire in Whittier Thursday morning, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The fire burning at the Good Shepherd Family Bible Church at 6712 Washington Ave. was reported at 4:10 a.m.

So far no injuries have been reported, but the fire was still ongoing as of 7 a.m.
