2 Santa Ana men arrested on suspicion of giving drugs to teen girls and engaging in sex acts

by in News

Santa Ana police arrested two men this week on suspicion of giving drugs to two teenage girls, then engaging in sex acts with them.

Isai Higinio Hernandez, 21, and Jason Rabadan, 20, were arrested Wednesday after being found sleeping in a car with one of the victims. The Santa Ana men are being held in jail in lieu of $100,000 bail each, Santa Ana police said Friday.

Hernandez met both victims, 14-year-old girls from Irvine, through messaging application Snapchat, police said. He gave the first teen drugs before performing illegal sex acts with her. When he was found in the vehicle by police, he was with Rabadan and another 14-year-old Irvine girl who was a reported runaway.

Detectives discovered that Hernandez had also given the other girl drugs and Rabadan had engaged in sex acts with her.

Both were arrested on suspicion of committing lewd acts and providing drugs to a minor.

Santa Ana police detectives think there may be more victims and say the suspects appeared to target the Irvine area. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Julio Gallardo at 714-245-8378 or jgallardo@santa-ana.org. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS.
