2 men wounded in Anaheim shooting; drive themselves to hospital

Two men were wounded Monday night in Anaheim when someone shot into their vehicle, but they were able to drive themselves to the hospital, police said.

The pair were in a car in the alley of the 2600 block of East Park Lane when the suspect struck at about 10:30 p.m., Anaheim police Sgt. Shane Carringer said.

One was wounded in the neck and the other was hit in the abdomen, Carringer said. They drove themselves to a hospital; one was treated as a trauma patient.

Both victims were uncooperative, and investigators believe the shooting was gang-related, Carringer said.
