Man found shot to death in Santa Ana in suspected gang rivalry

A man was found shot multiples times on a sidewalk in Santa Ana Sunday night and pronounced dead at the scene.

It was just before 11 p.m. when police were called about the shooting at 1600 S. Evergreen St., police said Monday. That area is home to several multi-unit complexes.

The victim’s name had not been released yet, pending family notification.
