Orange County judge charged with drunkenly shooting wife pleads not guilty

Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ferguson pleaded not guilty Tuesday to murdering his wife in an alcohol-fueled shooting earlier this month. His attorneys have argued the killing was an “accident” and is not a crime.
