Woman found with gunshot wound dies in Anaheim alley

ANAHEIM — A woman in her 30s was found with a gunshot wound in an alley and died early Saturday, police said.

Officers responded to a report of gunshots heard in the south alley of 912 E. Broadway Ave. at about 1:25 a.m. and discovered the victim, who had at least one gunshot wound, said Sgt. Daron Wyatt of the Anaheim Police Department.

Police performed CPR until paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene, he said.

A suspect description was not available. The victim’s identification was not released. No additional information was provided on Saturday morning.
