1 hurt as car crashes into Bellflower building

BELLFLOWER – At least one person was injured Thursday when a motorist crashed into a building in Bellflower.

The crash was reported at 6 p.m. on Clark Avenue and Olive Street, just south of Alondra Boulevard, said Supervisor Michael Pittman of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“One vehicle went into the structure, but no one was trapped,” Pittman said.

A woman was rescued from the car that crashed in to the building, a video news reporter at the scene said. Her injuries did not appear to be life- threatening, On Scene reported.

It was unknown how many people were injured, Pittman said.

The cause of the crash was unknown.
