2 hurt, residents displaced in Tustin apartment fire
TUSTIN — A fire at a Tustin apartment complex injured two people Sunday and displaced residents, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
The Red Cross is assisting residence in an 8 unit Tustin apartment complex after a two alarm fire broke out at 5:39 pm. Two second story units on Tustin East Drive were involved and two people were injured. One victim was transported. #ocfirefighters pic.twitter.com/8PRpcNtUhW

About 5:30 p.m., firefighters responded to the eight-unit complex in the 13000 block of East Tustin Drive, where they were able to stop the flames from spreading beyond two units, which became engulfed, said OCFA Communications Director Colleen Windsor.

Two people in the complex were injured. One was treated at the scene, the other was taken to a hospital, she said.
The building was evacuated and The Red Cross was assisting displaced residents.
Investigators have yet to determine the cause or estimate damage costs.
