Bicyclist dies in suspected hit-and-run in Santa Ana

A bicyclist died early Monday, Nov. 4, in a suspected hit-and-run crash in Santa Ana, police said.

The male bicyclist was found fatally injured in the lanes in the 300 block of South Newhope Street just after 3 a.m., police said.

Details about the bicyclist’s age and identity were not immediately released, nor was a description of the vehicle involved.
