Woman trying to park plows through front of Costa Mesa office

A woman trying to park her sedan in front of a business in Costa Mesa on Monday, Nov. 18, drove through the front of the building instead, officials said.

The collision happened at 3188 Airway Ave. at about 11:46 a.m. Costa Mesa police Lt. Victor Bakkila said.

A gray 2000 Nissan Sentra lost its front bumper as it knocked down the storefront of the office and traveled partially into a hallway.

Paramedics responded, but no injuries were reported, Bakkila said. However, building inspectors were still working to determine if the office was safe to inhabit.
