Motorist dies in rollover crash on 241 Toll Road in Orange

A motorist died after a vehicle flipped over on the 241 Toll Road in Orange on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Only one vehicle was involved in the rollover crash that was reported at 6:51 p.m. in southbound lanes of the freeway, just north of the Santiago Canyon Road off-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol Dispatcher Al Echeverria.

The driver died at the scene when the vehicle landed on its roof, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Tony Bommarito.

He said ambulances were not requested to the site of the collision and no people were taken to a hospital. The identity of the person who died was not immediately released.
