Westminster resident killed in crash west of Barstow

A 22-year-old resident of Westminster died Friday, Dec. 21, in a traffic collision on U.S. Highway 395, the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office said.

The crash happened about 7:20 p.m. south of Highway 58 in Kramer Junction, which is west of Barstow and north of Adelanto.

Javier Calleja was ejected from his vehicle, which collided head-on with another, the Coroner’s Office said. No other details on the collision were immediately available.
