Did you feel a jolt early Saturday morning?

A 3.4-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Pacific Ocean 13.8 miles southwest of Huntington Beach at 2:48 a.m., Cal Tech said in a preliminary report. (A tweet pegged it at 15 miles.) The quake was at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The temblor was reported 15.3 miles south southwest of Seal Beach and 15.7 miles west southwest of Newport Beach.
