Coroner summoned to crash on 22 Freeway in Orange

The California Highway Patrol and coroner’s officials responded to reports that a vehicle may have collided with a person who died on the 22 Freeway in Orange on Tuesday, March 3.

Authorities received reports of a crash involving a vehicle and one person who was down in eastbound lanes near Main Street at 6:48 p.m., California Highway Patrol Dispatcher Victoria Martinez said. Coroners officials were summoned to the scene 19 minutes later.

The carpool and No. 1 lane were temporarily closed for the investigation, the CHP log showed.
