by in News

A hit-and-run collision in Santa Ana left a teenager injured Monday, Aug. 10. He was expected to recover.

The collision happened near Orange and McFadden avenues at about 8:10 p.m., Santa Ana Police Department Sgt. Carol Salvatierra said. A light blue Chevrolet pickup truck hit a pedestrian, and did not stop to check on him.

The victim was described as between the ages of 15 and 17 years old. He was conscious when officers responded, Salvatierra said.

“He was talking and everything,” Salvatierra said. “He should be OK, unless something else happens at the hospital.”
